How to Feel good, even in lockdown?

No one is trained to feel good and look good when all world is looking crazy, but we can try.

I am living my third lockdown, and after all the feeling low, watch Netflix 24/7, sleep all day, and been awake all night, something in me said enough. I felt that was ok to just sit and relax, but relaxing too much was driving me crazy. I don’t know about you, but I really think that I can rest when I die, life is too short to live it between the sofa, fridge,( yeah we all carry the snacks along.) and bed.

I realize that I was not living the life because of this pandemic, and I definitely not a very patient person to wait for this to go away to start living again. Ok is not easy to make plans that not include any friends, family, or holidays, but there were a lot of things that I had in my mind that I always said was not time to do it, and now, I finally could do it.

All fine on planning the perfect one-person adventure, but then my kids are all around, and the cat, and the bad news, when is nothing related with the pandemic, is about the bad weather, with always a fancy name for storms. Ho, choose these names anyway?

“Will Lang, Head of the National Severe Weather Warning Service at the Met Office, said: “We are now entering our sixth year of the Name our Storms campaign and we look forward to working closely with our colleagues in Ireland and the Netherlands once again, continuing to raise awareness of the potential impacts of severe weather in order to keep people across our nations safe.

“The impacts from Storm Ciara and Dennis earlier this year are still fresh in many people’s minds and although it’s too early to anticipate what weather this autumn and winter will bring, we are prepared with a new list of names to help raise awareness of severe weather before it hits.”

Sorry, couldn’t resist, ok these guys choose the fancy names for all the storms, that appear to be hitting England all the time.

Then in the middle of a reading, I found this quote:

“If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.” — Jim Rohn

This hit me more than any storm, then if I don’t make any choice in my life, I will spend it all, doing what others want for me, and this others, don’t have any great plans for me.

Wake up call, I had to do something. And is fun when everyone is trying to stop doing everything, and you are running as crazy solving affairs like you are the boss of the biggest company in the world.

My kids start to get worried, LOL, this woman is all crazy, they will tell me to chill, enjoy the lockdown.

Then I still a mother that have to prepare school lessons, help my six old kid to learn, get my teenager to really do the lessons online, take care of meals, shop, but, now I desired a change.

I don’t wanna die with the music singing on me, I want to fulfill my true potential, live my life plenty.

I always had the crazy goals that I realize now was a bunch of nonsense, like be a millionaire, merry a guy like Thor from Marvel films, and make a trip around the world with my kids. But this was what would really make me happy? Or what society imposes on me as an idea of happiness?

Then after deep thinking, I realized that happiness is in that little moments, that you stop all desires, and you just feel gratitude for life.

Like when I had my children, I was so happy that they come perfect and healthy.

Or when I step on the beach in Portugal, and I feel the warm sand in my foot, I smell the breeze of the sea with my eyes closed, and slowly open my eyes to that beautiful and immense sea.

I start putting together pieces, as in a puzzle, of things that no matter what will make me feel good, and peace by peace, from the most complex to the most simple, as listening to the rainfall outside, I learned to redirect my instincts to what is my true feeling good place.

I am still in the process, but what I can tell you, is enjoying the little things, makes you human, and in touch with something beautiful.

Taking care of your feelings, transmute all negativity, for positive impulse, makes you feel in control, and feel in control of your life is power.

Now I am in the moment, and I work hard every day to fulfill any inspirational idea, I love to be in the flow, and I start doing things that I always said that I would do one day. My dream life day now is today.

I am running for the first time at 41 years old, I am doing Yoga and meditations every day. And my priority is spending at least 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, as in the workplace, working just to fulfill my dreams. My time management is a priority, I schedule to do it all in time, without stressing if I fail.

The first time of the day I take care of myself even if I have to wake up before the kids for it, and I always look for ways to improve my lifestyle.

My energy levels are on the roof, I am more active than ever, feeling fantastic, taking care and control of my finances, my kids, my health, relationships, and super connected with my true self.

Then I will let you this little secret, my personal schedule includes things as family hugs time, stoping everything to do the important little things that matter just for you feels amazing. If you need help doing one let me know, and I will sort it out, even my kids have schedules, and this is helping us a lot.

Remember that is important that for the first time in your life you do what you really want, to feel good, with yourself, for no reason to impress others, but to look amazing for yourself.
